Duperon appoints Paul Jezuit as regional sales manager

Duperon has appointed Paul Jezuit as regional sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic region, the Carolinas and his home state of Illinois. Over the past two decades, Jezuit served as regional sales manager for a global pump and water solutions leader, managing a multistate territory across the Midwest and Southeast. He led customer-focused infrastructure sales efforts, working closely with municipalities, engineers, contractors and manufacturers’ representatives to support project specification development and promote aftermarket services. His responsibilities also included conducting product training sessions and performing field troubleshooting for stormwater and water/wastewater systems.

In-Situ completes integration of ChemScan Operations

In-Situ announced it has successfully completed the relocation and consolidation of ChemScan operations to its headquarters in Fort Collins, Colorado. The transition, which began in January, is now finalized. ChemScan, previously based in Waukesha, Wisconsin, joined the In-Situ brand in 2019 as part of a broader initiative to expand In-Situ solutions to serve process monitoring applications in drinking water, wastewater and industrial treatment. With the merger, ChemScan now officially operates under the In-Situ name. While the ChemScan brand will continue to represent the same line of analyzers within In-Situ’s water monitoring portfolio, all operations, contracts and services are now managed by In-Situ.


Law group announces award to clients from PFAS contamination settlements 

Funds from the 3M and DuPont water settlements are now being released to relieve water providers of some of the financial burden of removing PFAS from their drinking water. These settlements resulted from the Aqueous Film-Forming Foam multidistrict litigation against PFAS manufacturers (AFF MDL No. 2873) where SL Environmental Law Group was part of a small group of firms representing more than 280 public agencies, investor-owned utilities and other impacted water systems in bringing claims against the manufacturers responsible for PFAS contamination.

Salt Lake City project celebrates 2 million work hours

Salt Lake City’s new water reclamation facility surpassed 2 million project work hours as the Sundt/PCL joint-venture construction team draws closer to completion. One of the city’s largest public works projects, Sundt/PCL has been upgrading and expanding the city’s only wastewater treatment plant since 2019. At peak construction, the project reached 400 workers on site. Construction includes installation of new advanced treatment processes and updating the facility to the current building and seismic codes. Once complete, the facility will improve water quality, reduce odors and increase seismic resilience.
