The Homer wastewater management team was awarded as the Large Wastewater System of the Year by the Alaska Water Wastewater Management Association.
The Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel and Pump Station project in St. Louis, Missouri, received a 2025 Honor Award in the Water and Wastewater category from the American Council of Engineering Companies.
The Norristown (Pennsylvania) Water Treatment Plant received a 10-year President’s Award from the Partnership for Safe Water.
The Pontiac (Illinois) District Water Treatment Plant and Streator (Illinois) District Water Treatment Plant received the Partnership for Safe Water 25-Year Director’s Awards.
Paul Cutter, Hart Bio-Pure superintendent, was recognized as Doris Van Dam Operations Professional of the Year award by the Michigan Water Environment Association.
The Paintsville Water Treatment Plant was named the Eastern Kentucky Water District Treatment Center of the Year.
David Melton, water resources director in Asheville, North Carolina, was hired as water and wastewater director in the Rock Hill (South Carolina) Water Service Department.
The Upper Trinity Regional Water District’s Thomas E. Taylor Water Treatment Plant won the Best Tasting Surface Water title at the North Central Texas Regional Water School, a regional sector of the Texas Water Utilities Association.
Naval Submarine Base New London and Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point received federal Energy and Water Management Awards. They are part of the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic.
Alan Roberson, executive director of the Association of State Drinking Water Administrators and a long-time industry veteran, retired from the association.
