Positive displacement blowers are a vital component of wastewater treatment systems, ensuring efficient aeration and mixing through reliable and consistent airflow. Eurus Blower recently announced the introduction of their
EBox Series of blower packages to the North American market. In addition to aeration and mixing, these blower packages can be used in pneumatic conveying and other industrial applications.
“This exciting EBox Series offers our customers a greater selection of high-quality blower packages,” says Roger Blanton, general manager at Eurus Blower. “The EBox product introduction complements our recent ISB Series Screw Blower, VR Series [steam blower] product introductions and growing success with our multistage centrifugal product.”
The EBox is a compact, skid-mounted positive displacement blower unit that integrates the blower, motor, sound enclosure, pressure relief valve, check valve, shock absorber, inlet pressure gauge, outlet pressure gauge and outlet temperature gauge into a compact structure that is aesthetically pleasing, with low noise, easy installation and easy operation. It can be used to provide a reliable and consistent supply of air, which is essential for aerobic biological processes in wastewater treatment. It can also be used to mix and aerate wastewater, ensuring that microorganisms have access to oxygen and that contaminants are evenly distributed.
The package offers pressure to 15 psig, airflow to 1,571 cfm, separated process and cooling air, an IEC standard UL certified motor, TEFC, IP55, 230/460 V, 60 Hz, IE3, a 460 V, 60 Hz dedicated cooling fan, easy service features, extremely low noise (<85dbA) and low vibration, pressure and temperature gauges, external oil level gauges and preinstalled pressure relief and check valves. Because of the skid mount, they offer flexibility and can be easily transported and installed, often providing a quick solution for increasing aeration capacity. The can be used as a standalone solution or integrated into existing aeration systems, serving as a more affordable option than installing a full aeration system, especially for temporary increases in demand. They are designed to be reliable and durable, ensuring consistent operation in wastewater treatment plants.
“Eurus Blower’s customer service focus is unmatched in the North American market as we continue meeting customer needs,” says Blanton. “It’s just the latest offering, as we manufacture many other positive displacement bi-lobed rotor and tri-lobed rotor blowers, multistage centrifugal blowers, screw blowers and factory packages.”
