SJE acquires LangeTech and AMI Global

SJE announced the acquisition of LangeTech, a supplier of consulting, programming and engineering services for the automation industry. Founded in 2002, LangeTech specializes in comprehensive system integration and automation solutions, serving industries with a wide array of technical services. The company’s expertise encompasses total system integration, including control system architecture, hardware, software development, instrumentation and project management. LangeTech offerings also include SCADA and control systems for local and remote operations across various sectors such as water and wastewater and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

SJE also announced the acquisition of AMI Global from Cimbria Capital. With the combined capabilities, SJE expects to accelerate the delivery of advanced cloud connected opportunities and offer its customers a comprehensive platform of remote monitoring solutions. Founded in 2009, AMI Global delivers simple, cost-effective and scalable cloud solutions for industrial equipment manufacturers.


Axine Water Technologies names new chief revenue officer

Axine Water Technologies has appointed Andrew Mrasek as chief revenue officer. Mrasek brings nearly two decades’ experience in global sales, marketing and strategic business development across multiple industries, including industrial automation, renewables and advanced engineering. Mrasek joins Axine from Nidec Motor Corporation — Control Techniques, where he most recently served as general manager for the Americas.


Brown and Caldwell promotes Wendy Broley

Brown and Caldwell has promoted San Diego-based Wendy Broley to private sector business unit leader. In this new role, Broley will oversee the company’s full suite of environmental services and tailored solutions for private sector clients. She previously served as Brown and Caldwell’s chief technical officer and brings more than 20 years’ experience in water and wastewater engineering, operations and leadership.


Aquatech acquires DLE business from Koch Technology Solutions

Aquatech has acquired Koch Technology Solutions’ direct lithium extraction business, integrating the Li-Pro Lithium Selective Sorption technology and extensive Li-Pro IP portfolio into the PEARL process technology platform. The acquisition of KTS’ Li-Pro LSS technology adds direct lithium extraction to Aquatech’s extensive process flowsheet IP, lithium conversion and crystallization capabilities. With this addition, Aquatech’s PEARL platform becomes an end-to-end flowsheet solution for lithium processing. Spanning lithium extraction, purification and refining, the PEARL process technology platform delivers high-purity battery materials for electric vehicles and utility-scale electricity storage systems.  


Yardney Water Filtration Systems expands rep network 

Yardney Water Filtration Systems has added Hennesy Mechanical Sales and O’Connor Sales to its growing network of sales representatives. Hennesy Mechanical Sales, a division of DXP Enterprises, will support Yardney’s efforts by delivering high-performance water and wastewater treatment equipment, technical consultation and project support in Arizona, New Mexico and El Paso County, Texas. With more than 40 years in the industry, O’Connor Sales will exclusively represent Yardney’s solutions in the irrigation and landscape markets across California and Nevada.
