Asahi/America introduces new district sales manager

Asahi/America has added Tony Catricala to its outside sales team as district sales manager for the southeastern sales region. Prior to his district sales manager role, he worked as a product engineer in Asahi/America technical services’ department for eight years. 


Prime Solution announces key leadership changes

Prime Solution announced key changes to its executive team. Kelley Dendel has been appointed as the new president while Joe Dendel, the company’s longtime president and CEO, will transition to the role of CEO and chairman of Prime Solution. In her new role, Kelley will oversee daily operations, manage the company’s leadership team and continue developing strategic partnerships. Her focus will be on optimizing efficiency and driving forward the company’s mission to provide sustainable, simple, and successful dewatering solutions. As CEO and chairman, Joe will focus on nurturing key customer relationships, driving new product innovation and mentoring the next generation of Prime Solution’s leadership team. 


Franklin Electric realigns water systems expertise and manufacturing

To support the availability of configured-to-order pumping solutions, packaged systems and aftermarket rebowling services for turbines, Franklin Electric is realigning Headwater Companies’ Engineered Systems facility in Abernathy, Texas, to its Global Water Systems segment. The move will allow Franklin Electric to increase its investment in water systems product innovation. The 84,000-square-foot, manufacturing and testing facility near Lubbock International Airport will support commercial, industrial, municipal, agricultural and irrigation markets.


Cemen Tech and Master Builders support Construction Angels 

For the second consecutive year, Cemen Tech and Master Builders of Iowa teamed up with construction industry members and supporters to benefit the nonprofit organization Construction Angels. The IOWA Construction Angels Golf Outing, held in Norwalk, Iowa, raised more than $142,000. The funds will benefit Iowa families of construction workers who have tragically lost their lives on the job by providing financial aid, grief counseling and scholarships.


AqueoUS Vets awarded Colorado contract

AqueoUS Vets was awarded a project by PCL Construction under a construction management at risk contract for the South Adams County Water and Sanitation District, in Commerce City, Colorado. Through its Concept to Commission approach, AV will assist in the design, manufacturing and commission services for seven PF12-620 LowPro pressure filtration systems and supply of ion-exchange resin with prefilters at the District’s Klein Water Treatment Plant pioneering PFAS filtration in the state. The District is investing in an IX resin PFAS removal treatment plant to meet the newly adopted maximum contaminant levels imposed by the EPA. 


120Water welcomes Jennifer Fulk as CFO and COO

120Water has appointed Jennifer Fulk as the company’s new chief financial officer and chief operating officer. Fulk joins 120Water with a wealth of experience in finance and operations, having most recently served as the CFO of Talkspace and having held several senior leadership roles at Eli Lilly.


Hultec announces strategic brand alignment

Hultec announced a strategic brand alignment that brings together several companies it owns under a singular global name called Hultec. Incorporated in the new unified Hultec brand are S & B Technical Products serving the water, wastewater and stormwater industries; RieberLok self-restraining gaskets; and Terramix, the company’s primary research and manufacturing arm in Costa Rica. The brand consolidation — which includes a new Hultec identity, logo and website — completes a year of strategic analysis and creative development following Industrial Growth Partners’ acquisition of Hultec and its affiliated brands in September 2023.


Xylem appoints Meredith Emmerich to lead applied water segment 

Xylem named Meredith Emmerich senior vice president and president, applied water. Emmerich will join Xylem’s senior leadership team, reporting to President and CEO Matthew Pine. Applied Water is one of Xylem’s four reportable business segments, providing advanced water management solutions for customers in the industrial and commercial buildings markets. Emmerich succeeds Franz Cerwinka, who will serve as senior advisor until March 2025, to ensure a smooth and orderly transition.


FCI celebrates 60-year anniversary

San Marcos, California-based Fluid Components International, a Process Sensing Technologies brand, is celebrating 60 years in business. Founded in 1964 by California engineers Malcolm McQueen and Bob Deane, FCI initially found success in the oil/gas industry. FCI initially developed a robust thermal flow switch to detect low flow rates in stripper wells. In the 1970s, the company followed up with flow rate and liquid level switches and transmitters, then next pioneered the development of air/gas thermal dispersion mass flowmeters.


Duperon appoints new regional sales manager

Building on its international growth, Duperon Corp. is expanding its focus to the industrial sector, welcoming John Charlton as regional sales manager. With over 20 years’ experience with water and wastewater technologies, Charlton will work with key partners in sectors like food and beverage and pulp and paper to promote Duperon’s solutions, known for optimizing process wastewater treatment, reducing costs and ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance. Over the past decade, Charlton held the role of regional sales manager at a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialty chemicals and nature-based materials.
