Torrey Pines Scientific EchoTherm SC20 and SC25 dry baths
Torrey Pines Scientific has introduced two new EchoTherm models. The SC20 is a simple digital unit while the SC25 is a fully programmable unit with a five-program memory. Both have a temperature range from -4 degrees to 212 degrees F and incorporate a variable speed orbital shaker for mixing and controlling the temperature of samples simultaneously. Both units have a 30-day countdown timer with alarm and auto-off, data logger and RS232 I/O port for data logging or controlling the units from a computer. Vogelsang HiCone pumps
The HiCone progressive cavity pump from Vogelsang enables precise adjustments and was designed to maintain consistent conveying capacity and pressure resistance. The HiCone pump is suitable for applications in environmental wastewater applications as well as most industrial settings. The conical shape of the rotor and stator enables consistent sealing line compression through the pump life cycle. While static, the rotor and stator are positioned relative to each other to minimize compression between the two, requiring a smaller motor to start the pump as compared to a conventional progressive cavity pump. Fluoramic’s new sprayable version of HinderRUST cable and metal rust protector offers ease of application. It can be sprayed through off-the-shelf chemical-approved squirt bottles or garden sprayers. Emerson has introduced the Fisher easy-Drive 200R electric actuator for use on Fisher butterfly and ball valves. The 200R calibrates itself when a user clicks one button using the easy-Drive Configurator Software, provided free of charge with the actuator. The actuator operates in temperatures as low as -40 degrees F, eliminating the need for a space heater in all but the most extreme temperature applications.
