The Pueblo (Colorado) Wastewater Department and the James R. Dilorio Water Reclamation Facility received the Silver Peak Performance Award from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies for the second year in a row.


The Town of Smithfield, North Carolina, was named the 2025 Water Distribution System of the Year (Small Systems category) and 2025 Wastewater Collections System of the Year (overall winner) from NC One Water.


Water from the Abingdon Water Treatment Plant in Harford, Maryland, was named Best in Show at the AWWA regional taste-test challenge during the Chesapeake Tri-Association Conference.


The Fayette County Water System earned the Consumer Confidence Reports Gold Award from Georgia Association of Water Professionals.


Doug Woodbeck received the George Warren Fuller Award from the AWWA for his lifelong contribution to water management. Woodbeck joined the city of Gordon staff as a water system team member in 1980.


Sarah Hippensteel Hall, Ph.D., Miami Conservancy Districts Manager of Communications, Outreach and Stewardship, was elected president of the Water Management Association of Ohio, the organization dedicated to all of the state’s water resources.


Matt Stone, general manager of Santa Clarita Valley (California) Water, announced his retirement after 10 years of service.


Clint Baze, general manager of the Rincon del Diablo Municipal Water District in Escondido, California, announced his retirement after six years at the helm and 41 years career in the water industry, including 25 years with Rincon Water.


Calvin Sanders was named superintendent of the Ward 5 and 8 Joint Sewage Commission of Patterson, Louisiana. He succeeds Mickey Carmouche, who retired after 25 years of service.
