QED Environmental Systems appoints new president
QED Environmental Systems has appointed Mike Sebion as its new president. Sebion had spent almost 30 years with parent company Graco, where he most recently served as vice president of global industrial engineering. He brings with him a wealth of leadership experience and strategic knowledge, which he will now put to use in the field of environmental remediation and gas instrumentation for QED.
Asahi/America names new VP of East and Central sales
Asahi/America has promoted Mark Monroe to vice president of sales for the East and Central regions of the United States. His career with Asahi/America spans more than 11 years, serving in various capacities within the company’s sales organization. His most recent role at Asahi/America was as regional sales manager for the Central region of the U.S.
Hayward Gordon, Scott Turbon Mixer and EBARA Pumps Canada announce changes
Hayward Gordon ULC and EBARA Pumps Canada Corp. announced their strategic amalgamation to form EBARA HG ULC. In addition, Scott Turbon Mixer is changing its name to EBARA Mixers. The newly renamed entities, EBARA HG ULC and EBARA Mixers, will combine the strengths, expertise and resources of Hayward Gordon ULC, Scott Turbon Mixer and EBARA Pumps Canada, providing enhanced value and innovative solutions to our clients. The amalgamation and renaming of the legal entities will also see the launch of new logos, a new visual identity and a redesigned website.
Thomas Buer named managing director of Endress+Hauser Liquid Analysis
Thomas Buer will succeed Manfred Jagiella as its new managing director of Endress+Hauser Liquid Analysis. Jagiella retired at the end of September after 17 years at the helm. He originally joined the company as managing director at the beginning of 2007 and since then has developed the competence center for liquid analysis into a growing and profitable company. Since 2016, Jagiella has also been a member of the executive board of the Endress+Hauser Group.
Thomas Buer moves from Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions to Endress+Hauser Liquid Analysis. He studied mechanical/process engineering at the Technical University of Aachen and has extensive international experience in the water and environmental technology sector. In professional roles in Germany, Canada, the U.S. and France, he successfully managed global business units and drove innovative technologies forward.
Matt Murray joins SJE as vice president of sales – CLT division
Matt Murray has joined SJE as vice president of sales – CLT division. Murray replaces former vice president of sales, Richard Rankka, following his recent retirement. Murray will lead the sales strategy, product management and marketing for the controls and level-sensing technologies division of SJE. He brings over 18 years’ experience in various leadership and sales roles, including positions as director of sales, global strategic account manager, and senior business unit manager. Most recently, Murray was the senior business unit manager – industrial distribution at Franklin Electric. Prior to that, he spent seven years with ITT Goulds Pumps in several roles with his last being global strategic account manager.
