Dennis W. Doll, chairman, president and CEO of Middlesex Water Company, has been elected to a one-year term as president of the National Association of Water Companies.
Steve Melanson of Connecticut Water received the grand prize in the National Association of Water Companies Living Water Awards, recognizing private water professionals who are “living water” through commitment to quality, service and community.
Dr. Glen Daigger, International Water Association president and CH2M HILL chief technology officer, has been selected to join the Water Environment Research Foundation Board of Directors.
Jane Lubchenco, former undersecretary of commerce for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and Kathryn Sullivan, undersecretary of commerce for oceans and atmosphere and a NOAA administrator, received the 2013 Stroud Award for Freshwater Excellence recognizing outstanding achievement by those who contribute to the conservation and protection of fresh water.
