During the summer of 2015 the Waging WWTP in the Bavarian Chiemgau district was desperately looking for an energy-efficient, high-performance sludge thickening plant to replace the centrifuge they had been using. The objective was to optimize digester capacity, gas yield and sludge handling in the overall process on site.
