The Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation recently cut the ribbon on a new education center at its 300 mgd Hyperion Wastewater Treatment plant. The three-story, 20,000-square-foot Los Angeles Environmental Learning Center has interactive exhibits, video game experiences and more, aimed mainly at kids in grades 4-8. It includes an auditorium that seats 87.
