Bug pin floc
The subject of this article is not in relation to a single bug, but rather a sometimes poorly understood concept regarding the aggregation of microbes. By general definition, pin flocs are flocs with a dimension of under 50 µm, which is much smaller than commonly observed in biological wastewater treatment processes.
