Last week, most of the COLE Publishing staff traveled to Indianapolis for the 2015 Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport Show. Now that the dust has settled, the luggage has been unpacked and everyone is back in the office, we've got some numbers to report. If you didn't have a chance to go this year, here's a look at what you missed. (Check here for information on next year's show, and start your planning now!) 

• This year marked the 35th anniversary of the WWETT Show and the fourth straight year the event was held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indiana.
• 9,474 — The number of attendees at this year’s show, which was up 10.4 percent from 2014.
• In total, 4,196 companies attended (up 11.4 percent from last year).
• Truly an international event, 52 countries were represented among the attendees. Some traveled nearly 10,000 miles, coming to Indianapolis from as far away as Australia, Singapore and South Africa. In fact, every continent was represented with the exception of Antarctica.
• More than 300 vehicles were featured on the show floor, from CCTV inspection trucks to hydroexcavators, including this SKY-VAC Model 1 by Integrated Chassis Solutions — the largest machine to ever be on display at the WWETT Show.
• A grand total of 597 exhibitors were on hand to showcase their newest equipment, tools and services (compared to 529 exhibitors in 2014), including 4,339 exhibitor staff, which was up 12.6 percent from last year.
• Exhibitors came from 14 different countries: United States (524), Canada (47), Germany (14), Italy (3), Netherlands (3), China (3), Australia (2), Finland (2), United Kingdom (2), Sweden (1), Denmark (1), Barbados (1), India (1) and South Africa (1).
• From business training and marketing classes to courses designed to keep you up to speed on the latest rules and regulations, there were 108 educational seminars offered with opportunities to earn continuing education credits from more than 30 state agencies across the U.S.
• 564,000 — The square footage occupied by exhibitors in the Indiana Convention. That’s equivalent to 12 football fields (or 12 acres).
• WWETT Show attendees booked well over 14,000 room nights at various Indianapolis area hotels over the duration of the show.
• More than 1,800 people attended this year’s Industry Appreciation & Networking Party, which featured a private concert headlined by rising country music star Cole Swindell and a performance by Nashville’s Blackjack Billy. Concertgoers were treated to 25-cent tap beers and consumed 38 half-barrels during the show.
• Max Silva of Warren Environmental was the winner of our 35th anniversary grand-prize giveaway. Silva chose the $35,000 cash prize over the customized 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4x4 Extended Cab.
