The ScanMonitor noise monitoring system from Scantek employs a Class 1 or 2 sound level meter, allows for remote data collection from the real-time data logger, and is accessible via wireless or wired LAN or GPRS. It contains an onboard Web server so that sound data, test parameters and operator information are all configurable. Data is stored on high-capacity local memory and can be transmitted in real time by GSM, Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Measurement metrics include Lp, Leq, LE, Lmax, Lmin and five selectable Ln. Ten samples per second can be continuously recorded. Web-based software is provided to process and display results.
