Odor-absorbing activated carbon

Chlorine gas feed valve

The Regal Smartvalve from Chlorinators Incorporated allows operators to apply the exact amount of chlorine needed to accommodate changes in water flow and quality. It can be used with a gas chlorinator to apply residual-only control or compound loop control schemes. A chlorine residual analyzer measures the chlorine level and provides feedback to the Smartvalve, which then compares the measured chlorine residual to the desired residual and, if necessary, adjusts to the chlorine gas feed rate. Chlorine dioxide solution

Odor-monitoring system

The Q45S odor-monitoring system from Analytical Technology allows measurements at the inlet to scrubber systems where concentrations can run as high as 200 ppm, or at the outlet where concentrations are ideally below 0.5 ppm. Special sensor configurations are available for duct insertion or flowcell use. Because systems often monitor gas streams with condensing levels of water vapor, provision is made to eliminate water droplets from the sensor that could impede the diffusion of H2S.
