The Water Environment Federation (WEF) has promoted Dr. Eileen O’Neill to deputy executive director and Matthew Ries to chief technical officer.

The Government Finance Officers Association awarded the Mesa (Calif.) Consolidated Water District a Certificate of Achievement for its Comprehensive Annual Finance Report. The district also received the Meritorious Operating Budget Award from the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers and an Exceptional Public Outreach award from the California Special Districts Association.

The American Council of Engineering Companies New Jersey chapter awarded a 2012 Engineering Excellence Distinguished Award to New Jersey American Water for its installation of a new water transmission main to Ancora Psychiatric Hospital.
