The dates are set for Municipal Sewer Grout School, which is slated for Nov. 2-3 at Prime Resins headquarters in Conyers, Georgia.

Municipal Sewer Grout School is a joint educational course offered by Cues, Logiball and Prime Resins that is dedicated solely to inflow and infiltration remediation. The class offers both classroom and demonstration portions to fully educate attendees on the process of using chemical grouts to stop infiltration.

Topics covered include when and where to use acrylamide grouts; NASSCO/ICGA grouting specifications; hands-on demonstrations for leak sealing; and innovations in the industry including grout testing and monitoring.

Classes will take place from 7:45 a.m. to 5:20 p.m. on the first day and from 8 a.m. to 4:30 pm. the second day.

Injection grouting of mainline pipe and service laterals is growing more complex with new specifications, new safety guidelines, and renewed emphasis on inspection. The class places an emphasis on longevity, and technicians learn by personal experience about grout chemistry, how-to techniques, and why-to best practices. Owners and engineers will learn first-hand through a contractor perspective, leading to renewed confidence for both maintenance operations and engineering construction projects.

The school will feature experts from Cues, Logiball, and Prime Resins. It is designed for collection system managers, public works officials, city and consulting engineers, utility contractors, owners and estimators, and technicians and laborers. Participants will receive certificates for both the coursework and Safe Operating Practices, a three-year renewable requirement.

Register here before Oct. 7 to receive an early-bird rate of $585 ($485 for each additional employee from the same company). Prime Resins headquarters is located at 2291 Plunkett Road NW in Conyers.
