The J605 also features a survey mode to aid in pinpointing the source of a hydrogen sulfide gas leak. While in survey mode, the instrument continuously draws in air samples, allowing the user to “sweep” an area for hydrogen sulfide hot spots and enabling efficient corrective action to be taken.
