The ST100L air/gas in-line thermal mass flowmeter with Vortab flow conditioner from Fluid Components International can provide accurate flow measurement without a long straight pipe run. This in-line model is designed for line sizes of 1, 1.5 or 2 inches, and the flow conditioner eliminates both swirl and profile disturbances to produce a repeatable flow profile. It is typically installed in a system’s chlorine gas inlet line to the chlorinator panel. Its wetted material, including sensor element, in-line flow body, flow conditioner and process connections, are all fabricated of Hastelloy C-276 to ensure corrosion protection and long life.
