The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District received the District Transparency Certificate of Excellence from the Special District Leadership Foundation for transparency in operations and governance. The district provides drinking water, wastewater treatment, recycled water and biosolids composting services to Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Westlake Village and neighboring unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.
