Jim Kennan, chief operator for Butte-Silver Bow Water Utility, talks about the ProSeries-M MD-3 multi-diaphragm metering pumps installed at the Basin Creek Water Treatment Facility after being worried that the previous peristaltic pumps were not always able to push into high pressures under certain circumstances.
The MD-3 pumps have been in operation at Basin Creek for over a year and the operators haven’t had to deal with any maintenance so far. “They’ve proven to be extremely reliable,” says Kennan.
