AWWA launches redesigned Career Center
The American Water Works Association announced the launch of its redesigned Career Center. The updated site will better connect job seekers and employers in the water industry.

Mazzei Injector and The TDH Company to collaborate
Mazzei Injector announced that The TDH Company will represent them in the municipal water and wastewater sector throughout Alabama, Georgia, eastern Tennessee and the western portion of the Florida panhandle.

AdEdge Rotec LTD Flow-Reversal Osmosis technology        
AdEdge Water Technologies has added Rotec Flow-Reversal Osmosis technology to its core product offerings. The companies are entering into an exclusive licensing agreement to distribute the FR-RO technology in North America. The FR-RO utilizes standard non-proprietary equipment and can be implemented in all newly built municipal and industrial RO systems and can be retrofitted to existing RO systems.

Xylem announces acquisition of EmNet, LLC
Xylem announced it acquired EmNet. Financial terms were not disclosed. EmNet’s core technology and expertise in real time decision support systems was developed as a multidisciplinary approach to solve watershed and collections system challenges. The company was launched in 2004 as a collaborative partnership between the City of South Bend, Indiana, and the University of Notre Dame.

Hobas Pipe VP elected ASTM subcommittee chair
Richard Turkopp, P.E., the vice president of engineering for Hobas Pipe, was appointed as the Subcommittee Chairman for ASTM International D20.23 on Reinforced Plastic Piping Systems and Chemcial Equipment. He has been with Hobas since 1987 and his involvement with ASTM standardization dates back to 1981.

Blue-White Industries receives ISO certification
Blue-White announced it is now ISO 9001:2015 certified, the internationally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems.

New Parkson University video series
Parkson announced the release of Parkson University, an educational video series that reviews the basics of wastewater treatment and is geared to both beginners and experienced wastewater industry professionals. SEEPEX announces hiring of new managers
SEEPEX announced the hiring of Brian Wright as new business development manager; Eric Kearbey as new territory sales manager for the Midwest; Willie Hodess as new territory sales manager for Manitoba and Ontario; and Bob Brieno as territory sales manager for the West Coast, including California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, Alaska and a portion of Nevada.

Milwaukee operator education program marks 50 years
The Environmental Health and Water Quality Technology program at Milwaukee Area Technical College will celebrate its 50th anniversary Celebration March 20, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the college’s Mequon campus Lecture Hall. Nomination period open for 2018 WEF Awards 
The Water Environment Federation (WEF) is now accepting nominations for the 2018 WEF Awards. The annual awards program recognizes individuals and organizations that contribute to the sustainability of water resources and make a profound impact on the future through involvement with water professionals and education. Xylem acquires EmNet, LLC
Xylem Inc. recently announced that it has acquired EmNet, LLC, a rapidly growing provider of smart solutions that enable municipalities to manage the urban water cycle and wastewater and stormwater systems. This addition expands Xylem’s portfolio of advanced infrastructure analytics solutions and capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed.

2018 Water Research Foundation Conference registration open
Registration is open for the 2018 Water Research Foundation Conference on Advancing Reuse and Integrated Water in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 6-8. Following a 20-year tradition of annual research conferences, this event is the inaugural conference as the newly formed organization, The Water Research Foundation. The conference is designed to help communities prepare for the future with a comprehensive program offering innovative approaches and creative solutions for managing our water resources.

LANXESS highlights high-permeability ULP membrane elements at AMTA

The company will spotlight its high water permeability Ultra Low Pressure (ULP) Lewabrane brand membrane elements at AMTA’s 2018 Membrane Technology Conference & Exposition, booth 215, in West Palm Beach, Florida, from March 12-16.
