Biofiltration system
The Monafil biofiltration system from Anua uses peat media as a capture and support medium that offers high removal efficiencies for odors, VOCs, sulfur and nitrogen-based compounds. The granular high-density media can achieve high removal via high porosity, good water retention, high cation exchange capacity and large surface area.
The system achieves greater than 99 percent removal of H2S and greater than 95 percent OU/m3 depending on the application. It resists breakdown with media life up to 10 years. The deeper media (up to 10 feet) allows for a reduced footprint. No chemical or nutrient addition necessary. The media can
