Georgia Operator Exemplifies Upward Mobility in Water/Wastewater Industry

In this online exclusive video, Brian Boswell, superintendent of wastewater for the South Columbus (Georgia) Water Resources Facility talks about his 18 years in the water and wastewater industry.

His story is a great example of the upward mobility in the industry. After landing a job as a shift operator at the South Columbus plant, he spent the first year and a half working his way up the career ladder and getting licenses. "I made lead operator within about five years, and a few years later became the assistant superintendent," he says. "A year after that I became the superintendent."
