Capital Improvement Projects Tackled at Kansas Water Treatment Plant

In this online exclusive video, Rusty Tournade, water treatment plant supervisor for Eudora, Kansas, talks about some of the recent capital improvement projects undertaken at the facility. This year, they're working on installing a new lime feeder for softening, along with a number of new valves. “We have to come in and fill the towers up — we have to have the water plant shut off to install the valves,” says Tournade. “So the water plant has to be full so the town doesn’t run out of water.”
