The SUEZ Water treatment plant was concerned that the pressure needed to inject alum was too high for use with peristaltic-style pumps. They successfully injected a low alum concentration at high pressures using the CHEM-FEED MD3 dual-diaphragm metering pump without requiring tube replacements.
