Nexom, an Axius Water company, announced the launch of the Suez Cyclor Turbo for advanced wastewater treatment in a compact footprint. The technology improves on aerobic granular sludge, a fixed-level sequencing batch reactor with fast-settling densified sludge that requires half the footprint of conventional activated sludge. It enables facilities to meet effluent standards of 10 mg/L total nitrogen, 15 mg/L TSS, and 1 mg/L total phosphorus, without chemical reagents. The process is optimized for shallower basins than other AGS systems, making it well suited for retrofits and new installations.
