A wastewater treatment plant in Oregon needed a solution to constant maintenance when pumping sodium hypochlorite at pressures of 10 to 12 psi. The diaphragm pumps being used were experiencing leaks and required a lot of maintenance due to parts failure. The plant had to rebuild the pumps every four to five months. A solution was needed to reduce the cost of maintenance and downtime.
