A treatment plant in northern Kentucky was using a UV system to treat its effluent, and although the UV system was working properly, it was unable to reliably meet mandated disinfection requirements due to the heavy load of industrial effluent also entering the treatment system.

The plant chose to switch to a chem solution delivering peracetic acid for more reliable disinfection. The technician incorporated Blue-White’s FLEXFLO M3 peristaltic metering pumps for precise chemical dosing.
