This is where the dual-head configuration of the ProSeries-M MD-3 delivers superior performance: it will not lose prime. When the MD-3’s first diaphragm is in the suction phase, the second diaphragm is in the discharge phase. This causes gaseous fluids to be pumped in a near continuous flow.
The hybrid MD-3 diaphragm/metering pump has an excellent turndown ratio of 2,000-to-1 and provides smooth chemical dosing with no pulsation dampener required. With 380 strokes per minute, the ProSeries-M MD-3 provides a remarkably steady flow.
The thoughtfully designed and engineered MD-3 is equipped with sonic welded manifolds to prevent chemical leaks and features a zero-maintenance brushless DC drive.
