Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group introduced the Model 530 series of self-priming, dry-running industrial process pumps during WEFTEC 2016 in New Orleans, Sept. 26-28.

The peristaltic pumps are designed for ease of installation and use and for delivery of water and wastewater treatment chemicals including sodium hypochlorite, hydrofluorosilicic acid and ferric chloride. They provide accurate and repeatable flows. Maintenance is reduced with a single component replacement that requires no tools.

The pumps have no metal-to-metal contact between parts and prevent contamination of the pump and the fluid being moved. The units help maintain process integrity with visual status indication and an intuitive user interface. A three-level PIN lock provides high process security. The speed control range is 2,200:1 with flow proportional to pump speed. There are no valves, seals or glands to wear out or replace. Visit www.wmftg.com.
