ADS polypropylene pipe receives Ontario approval

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation approved ADS polypropylene pipe for gravity flow sewer and water applications. The new standards and specifications denote dual and triple wall polypropylene (PP) pipe in addition to previously approved high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe in diameters of 100 to 1,500 mm.

Singer Valve receives NSF 372 certification

Singer Valve received NSF 372 certification for low lead content in its control valves. Singer Valve uses high-quality stainless steel for wetted areas.

seepex meter pumps receive NSF 61 certification

seepex metering pumps received NSF 61 certification for use in treating water and wastewater. The pumps are certified safe for sodium, hypochlorite, ferric chloride, sodium bisulfate, potassium permanganate, sodium silicofluoride, calcium fluoride, polymers and most other chemicals commonly used in water and wastewater flocculation, clarification, sterilization and buffering.

Flowserve receives SIL 2, SIL 3 certifications

Flowserve Corp. received IEC 61508 SIL 2 and SIL 3 certification for its Limitorque MXa electronic actuator optional output boards and arctic temperature components. The certification is in addition to the original SIL certification granted by exida to the basic MXa.

Hayward expands Canadian operations

Hayward Flow Control expanded operations to Oakville, Canada. The 200,000-square-foot warehouse and office will headquarter customer service, technical service, valve automation service, product warehousing, sales and marketing support.

AEA completes acquisition of Siemens Water

AEA Investors LP has secured regulatory approvals and closed on an agreement to acquire the municipal, industrial and services water and wastewater treatment operations and assets of Siemens Water Technologies. The new company will be Evoqua Water Technologies LLC.

Toshiba International forms speed drives, electronics divisions

Toshiba International Corp. formed the Motors & Adjustable Speed Drives and the Power Electronics divisions. Mike Ayers is president of the new TIC Social Infrastructure Group, which houses the divisions.
