Tnemec names Matt Wierzchowski new municipal collections director
Tnemec announced Matt Wierzchowski as its new director of Epoxytec — municipal collections. In this role, Wierzchowski will lead Tnemec’s efforts in municipal sewer and water infrastructure, focusing on manhole rehabilitation, underground pipelines and other critical wastewater collection applications. He will also work alongside Vaughn O’Dea, director of Epoxytec — municipal treatment. Wierzchowski brings more than 34 years’ expertise in the protective coatings industry, with a specialized focus on water and wastewater infrastructure.
John Mroczka joins Tsurumi Pump as sales manager
Tsurumi Pump welcomed John Mroczka as its new southeast regional sales manager. With years of sales experience at a municipal pump manufacturer, Mroczka brings a strong foundation in customer relations and technical pump expertise. He is a member of American Water Works Association, Water Environmental Federation and Florida Water Environment Association.

Watts launched a new Nexa website, offering facility maintenance professionals, engineers, specifiers, architects and contractors a simple-to-use site to help them understand the capabilities of the Nexa intelligent water management platform for new construction or retrofits. Enabling visitors to search for solutions by need, product or industry, the new platform is designed to help users prevent leaks, reduce water use and operate more efficiently.
Zone 7 Water Agency wins engineering excellence awards
Zone 7 Water Agency has received two engineering awards from the American Council of Engineering Companies for the Stoneridge, California, PFAS Treatment Plant — an Engineering Excellence Honor Award and a National Recognition Award. With financial support from a $16 million grant from the state of California’s Sustainable Groundwater Management Program, Zone 7 completed construction of the Stoneridge PFAS Treatment Plant in the fall of 2022. The project was completed in partnership with Carollo Engineers and Conco-West. Located at the Stoneridge Well in Pleasanton, the new $16.3 million facility treats up to 4,600 gpm (equivalent to 6.5 million gpm), serving more than 250,000 Tri-Valley residents and businesses in Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore.
President of Duperon Mark Turpin becomes co-owner

SJE welcomes Laura Kerlagon as national sales manager, North America
Detroit Lakes, Minnesota-based SJE announced that Laura Kerlagon has joined the company to serve as its national sales manager — North America (United States and Canada) for the control and level sensing technology division. She brings over 13 years of commercial and distribution channel sales experience at Bigwall Enterprises, Electrolux, General Insulation and Whirlpool. Her most recent experience as key account sales manager at Whirlpool connected her with the plumbing industry where she worked with a variety of customers, including retailers, distributors and designers. In her role, she helped identify new business opportunities, developed actionable plans for success and mentored new sales talent.
ResinTech’s laboratory achieves New Jersey certification
ResinTech announces that its water services laboratory has been officially granted laboratory certification from the state of New Jersey under N.J.A.C 7:18, the state regulations governing the certification of laboratories and environmental measurements. The ResinTech laboratory performs comprehensive water testing services, including metals analysis, inorganic compounds, volatile organic compounds, microbiological testing (total coliform, E. coli, heterotrophic plate count and iron-related bacteria), arsenic speciation, silica analysis, particle size distribution, total organic carbon, PFAS analysis and membrane application assessments for reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration systems.
