SJE celebrates 50 years
Detroit Lakes, Minnesota-based SJE is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Founded in 1975, SJE delivers high-performance control solutions by integrating engineering and manufacturing. The company began when Steve Johnston helped his neighbor solve a septic holding tank issue. The first product, the Tank Alert Alarm, helped to ensure septic tanks did not overflow. This product laid the foundation for decades of trusted performance and continuous growth. Today, the company has more than 800 employees, 65 design and utility patents, 15 locations in three countries, and nine product brands. SJE’s family of brands includes SJE Rhombus, CSI Controls, PRIMEX, Ohio Electric Control, Revere Control Solutions, Horlick, ICON Technologies, Altronex and
L.W. Allen Pumps.

EQT to acquire Seven Seas Water Group
The EQT Infrastructure VI fund has agreed to acquire Seven Seas Water Group from Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, and Houston, Texas, Seven Seas builds, owns and operates water and wastewater treatment plants across the U.S., Caribbean and Latin America, with over 220 plants currently under management. For more than two decades, Seven Seas has implemented its Water-as-a-Service integrated model, which applies trusted capabilities in design, development, finance, risk management and operations to greenfield and brownfield development, as well as the revitalization of existing water treatment plants.
Oldcastle Infrastructure partners with VODA.ai
Oldcastle Infrastructure, A CRH Company, has entered a commercial agreement with VODA.ai, a global company focused on using AI technology to quickly and accurately identify areas in underground clean water systems that are at high risk of failure. The partnership adds AI technology for the data analysis and predictive reporting of water system failures to Oldcastle Infrastructure’s CivilSense asset management solution, delivering both predictive and real-time leak detection and risk analysis to water utilities.
Seeq appoints Ray Scheppach as CFO
Seeq Corporation has appointed Ray Scheppach as chief financial officer, joining the Seeq executive leadership team. Scheppach will oversee all aspects of Seeq’s global financial operations, including financial strategy, reporting, risk management, treasury, tax and long-term business planning. Prior to Seeq, he served as CFO at iManage, a global legal-tech SaaS company.

Cemtrex’s AIS secures $1.8 million contract for WWTP upgrade
Advanced Industrial Services, a subsidiary of Cemtrex, has been awarded a $1.84 million contract by the city of Lancaster to upgrade critical infrastructure at its advanced wastewater treatment plant. AIS will process mechanical and electrical systems, rehabilitate clarifier structures and modernize control systems for four primary clarifiers in the South Train of the city’s AWWTP. The project is scheduled to be completed within one year of commencement during the city’s 2025-26 fiscal year.
Chad Huskey joins NETZSCH Pumps
NETZSCH Pumps announced that Chad Huskey has joined the company as regional sales manager — environmental for the southeast region. In his new role, Huskey will support regional growth by managing distributor relationships, expanding into new markets and promoting NETZSCH’s full line of pumps, grinders and spare parts. He will oversee all project activity in the region and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed established goals, while also delivering product and application training to support partner success.
Garney names first chief people officer
Kansas City, Missouri-based Garney has hired Mark Garrett as its first chief people officer. Garrett brings decades of leadership experience in human resources and operations, having held senior roles at Hallmark Cards, Farmland Foods, Smithfield Foods and, most recently, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City.
Rotork joins Rockwell Automation’s Technology Partner Program
Rotork has entered the Rockwell Automation Technology Partner Program. As part of the partnership, Rotork’s IQ3 Pro electric actuator with EtherNet/IP connectivity will be featured in Rockwell Automation’s Technology Partner product reference catalogue and system design tools. ResinTech’s resin-based PFAS reduction system receives certification
ResinTech announced that its Hydra PFAS Reduction System has received official certification from The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, confirming the system meets NSF/ANSI standards for PFAS removal from drinking water.
