Schneider Electric showcased innovations in digital tools for process optimization in water and wastewater at WEFTEC in Chicago. The offerings use the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) to help operators better manage their facilities.

EcoStruxure Pumping Performance Advisor supports continuous improvement for pumping stations. It is a digital service designed to help users manage performance through insights, recommendations and direct access to Schneider service engineers. The solution leverages data-driven digital technologies to help reduce energy cost, increase performance, reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life.

EcoStruxure Hybrid DCS for Water is an automation system that lets users engineer, operate and maintain an entire plant in a single common database. It combines the management of fieldbuses, instrumentation, intelligent connected devices, operator stations, engineering stations and alarm management in a scalable automation platform.

EcoStruxure Augmented Operator Advisor dynamically combines contextual and local information on a mobile device, putting real-time information at users’ fingertips, whenever and wherever it is needed. Augmented reality enables operators to superimpose current data and virtual objects onto a cabinet, machine or plant. It provides access to information, such as machine history, user manuals and electrical diagrams to simplify operations, streamline maintenance and reduce downtime. Visit www.schneider-electric.us.
