US Peroxide LLC has changed its name to USP Technologies effective May 15, 2015.

The name change to USP Technologies builds upon US Peroxide’s successful track record of 20-plus years of providing full-service peroxygen-based programs to the municipal and industrial water treatment market. Changing the name to USP Technologies will better describe the company’s continued commitment to expanding its technology offering by adding new value-added solutions, while at the same time expanding its geographic capability to provide service programs to customers outside of North America.

“We offer much more than just peroxide, and we have a growing capability and commitment to be able to service customers in regions outside of the U.S. The new name better reflects our business focus and our future strategic direction,” says Tom Walkosak, general manager of USP Technologies, and vice president of Trojan Technologies.

USP Technologies, with offices and field service locations throughout North America, provides performance-driven, full-service environmental treatment programs to help purify water, wastewater, soil and air. Applications include turn-key odor and corrosion control solutions for municipal wastewater and drinking water treatment; refinery, gas, oil and petrochemical wastewater applications; industrial wastewater and air quality treatment; in-situ remediation; and UV oxidation.

USP Technologies is one of Trojan Technologies’ six businesses: USP Technologies, Aquafine, Trojan Marinex, TrojanUV, Salsnes Filter and VIQUA. The products and services provided by these businesses play vital roles in making various stages of the water treatment process more effective, efficient and sustainable.
