An oil spill in the Yellowstone River has created problems for the residents of Glendive, Mont. Elevated levels of benzene were found on Monday, Jan. 19, in samples at the water treatment plant, which serves about 6,000 people. Residents were advised not to drink or cook with the tap water.Authorities are working to decontaminate the treatment plant by adding additional activated carbon.
