Dewatering/Biosolids + Get AlertsFluid Dynamics, a manufacturer of liquid and dry polymer blending systems and a division of Neptune Chemical Pump Co., will be exhibiting at the American Water Works Association’s Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE13), being held June 9-13 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colo. Nearly 10,000 dedicated water professionals and more than 500 exhibitors will be on hand.
Neptune Chemical Pump Co., a manufacturer of chemical metering and peristaltic pumps and part of Pump Solutions Group (PSG), will also be exhibiting.
Fluid Dynamics will demonstrate its high-performance dynaBLEND Liquid Polymer Activation/Dilution/Feed Systems. The dynaBLEND technology provides superior performance in activating and feeding liquid polymers for water and wastewater treatment because it is designed to effectively activate all types of liquid polymers. Its nonmechanical mixing chamber delivers an unmatched level of reliability when compared to mechanical technologies. The system also features an injection check valve designed for ease of disassembly, inspection and cleaning, which eliminates a maintenance issue commonly found in other systems.
Neptune will showcase the Series 7000 mechanically actuated diaphragm metering pump and Series 500 hydraulically actuated metering pump. The mechanical design of the Series 7000 eliminates the use of contour plates on the liquid side of the diaphragm while the simple, straight-through valve and head design allows for improved flow characteristics. The unit is self-priming, provides superior performance, and has a maximum capacity range up to 300 gpm at 150 psi.
The Series 500 pumps feature EZE-CLEAN valve cartridges that can be removed for cleaning without disturbing the piping to the pump, and a variable oil bypass stroke adjustment that allows for better valve performance than traditional variable linked designs. Neptune will also be featuring its PZ Series electronic diaphragm metering pump, which is designed for various water treatment applications at flow rates from .01 to 20 gph.
Founded in 1881, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) is the largest organization of water supply professionals in the world. Its 54,000 members represent the full spectrum of the water community, including treatment plant operators, utility managers, scientists, environmentalists, manufacturers, academicians and regulators.
