Singer Valve wins innovation award for purging system

Singer Valve, a leading manufacturer of control valves, received an innovation award for their new Total Automatic Purging System (TAPS) by Flow Control Magazine. The winners were determined by reader votes. TAPS is designed to flush tough pipes and improve water quality without compromising fire pressure and ensuring minimal loss of non-revenue water. It uses an automatic control valve and battery-operated timer to control the time, length and pressure required to flush a distribution system effectively.
