Last week we asked if Treatment Plant Operator magazine should include stories about industrial treatment systems and operators. We received this reply:
"I think it would be highly valuable to include industrial treatment plant operations in this publication, and you could do it without losing the vision and focus you have had for this magazine. Let's face it - the challenges that each industry faces may have some technical variations and process differences, but the fundamental challenges and goals of a municipal and industrial plant are the same - correct? If you were to stick with the Fire Chief Project, are the industrial operators any less relevant to the public and in the sense of resource protection? Instead of "sewage plants," they are often considered "industrial waste generation facilities." I say, bring the industries together!
