Design Outreach, a nonprofit organization that creates life-sustaining products for developing countries, recently unveiled its new water pump. They plan to install two pumps in the Central African Republic, which will provide clean water for 600 people.
In an article on The Columbus Dispatch website, Design Outreach CEO Greg Bixler said, “The water pump was our first major problem. Our goal, our hope, our prayer is that we can successfully launch this water pump, make a small amount of revenue from it and use that small amount of revenue to fuel other projects.”
