A 32-year old man drowned in Fort McMurray, Alberta, while working on a water treatment plant under construction. The man’s body was found submerged in a tank of water on September 26, several hours after his shift had ended. According to the Edmonton Journal, the man had been working on overhead panels above the tank on Tuesday at the Athabasca Water Treatment Plant. His shift ended at 5:30 p.m. and he was found in about 25 feet of water in the 40-foot deep tank at about 8:15 a.m. Wednesday morning, Sept. 26. He had apparently been reported missing.
