The Water Environment Federation will hold a one-hour webcast on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 1 p.m. Eastern time, focused on the WEF Roadmap to Energy Sustainability. Wastewater treatment plants are not waste disposal facilities but water resource recovery facilities that produce clean water, recover nutrients, and can reduce the nation’s dependence on fossil fuels through energy conservation and the production and use of renewable energy.
