The board of directors of the Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturer’s Association (WWEMA) has elected Deborah LaVelle chairman for the 2011-2012 term. LaVelle is the first woman to chair the organization in its 103-year history.
Her role as chairman includes serving on the Strategic Planning and Executive committees and providing leadership to the organization. She brings more than three decades of experience in the water and wastewater industry. LaVelle is vice president of marketing and application engineering and has been with the company since 1986 in various management positions.
