The board of directors of the American Water Works Association elected Jim Chaffee, a Wisconsin engineer with the global firm Jacobs, as its next president-elect. Chaffee will take his new position at AWWA Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE12) in Dallas in June and will begin a one-year term as president in 2013.
A registered professional engineer in six states, Chaffee earned his bachelors of science degree in civil engineering and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin system. He has developed his expertise in water quality, treatment and regulation over a 35-year career and now provides technical and business strategy support
