Nearly every month seems to bring news about some entity, public or private, building a biogas project. Often, these involve using food waste as “fuel” for an anaerobic digester. The latest of these projects to come along is in Milwaukee, Wis.
There, according to a report in The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe wants to build a biogas-to-energy project next to its casino. An anaerobic digester would produce electricity and hot water heating for the casino.
