As part of a 2012 upgrade to the H.C. Morgan Water Pollution Control Facility, the City of Auburn, Alabama, decided to convert from chemical (chlorine) disinfection to environmentally friendly disinfection with ultraviolet light (UV). With their consultant, CH2M Hill, the city evaluated UV disinfection manufacturers and products and ultimately chose the TrojanUVSigna system.

In this case study, learn about the benefits of the system — including details on the simple retrofit features — and take a look at the system design parameters. You'll also get a look at the disinfection performance of the plant once the system was installed.
