Achieve Enhanced Effluent Quality and Sludge Thickening with the Original Lamella Inclined Plate Clarifier

Celebrating 50 years of Lamella

Parkson introduced the original Lamella inclined plate clarifier 50 years ago in North America, and it has since been the industry standard for this type of technology. Today, Lamella has helped provide thousands of treatment plants worldwide with unsurpassed effluent quality, enhanced sludge thickening, and cost savings in a compact footprint.

Increased capacity, compact footprint

Built off the original Lamella design, the Lamella EcoFlow inclined plate settler eliminates the area of interference at the bottom of plates and allows for 100% utilization of the plate settling area, translating to an increased capacity of up to 25% of the existing footprint. When compared to traditional clarifiers, EcoFlow provides higher effluent quality, enhanced sludge thickening, less chemical usage downstream, and an easy and cost-effective option to retrofit or upgrade older installations.

How it works

In this process, chemically treated and flocculated water enters a tank and flows upward between a pack of inclined plates. Solids fall to the plate surface and by gravity slide down to a sludge collection hopper. Clarified effluent flows through orifice holes and exits the top of the settler. EcoFlow can be used in municipal and industrial applications such as potable water clarification, industrial process water, sand filter backwash, metal finishing, mining and more. Lab and pilot testing are also available for sizing and chemical use optimization.
