In 2018, the facility won two awards: the Best of the Best Tap Water Taste Test at the Kentucky-Tennessee American Water Works Association Conference; and the Central Kentucky Water and Wastewater Operators Association Water Treatment Plant of the Year award. “We’re very proud of that and we can attribute all that to our staff here,” says Gohman. “All our operators work hard and we take pride in what we do.”
