When a traditional horizontally mounted submersible propeller mixer experiences fluid inleakage, motors and gearboxes can fail. Rather than repairing these mixers, consider replacing them with a vertically mounted submersible configuration such as the Vaughan Turbo-S Mixer. These vertically mounted submersible mixers incorporate an upper cutter above the propeller to stop wrapping and fibrous material binding, and to protect the mechanical seal.
